I’m not sure whether I should really give Rowell the benefit of the doubt, especially since this is the first time she has wrote a sequel, and sequels could either make or break the series.

And I honestly feel like this book would have been a lot better if it originally came out later instead of being in 2019 let’s face it, this book was incredibly different from Carry On. I really feel like it’s sad that I remember that Wayward Son was announced, and book 2 would be coming out in 2020 or 2021, but it got moved up. I was just HIGHLY disappointed with this book in general. But this is my second to last book until she apologizes for her incorrect representation.

And I really hate to say this, but this isn’t my last book by her-since there is a third book announced and I want to finish this series. Sorry for my language, but I’m pissed off right now towards a certain English teacher. Bisexuals do exist, and just because it’s m/m does not mean shit. In Carry On, there was a bisexual-erasure in the book and that was not okay. I really wanted to address one issue in Carry On, before I continued on why I’m HIGHLY disappointed in this book.

It’s another helping of sour cherry scones with an absolutely decadent amount of butter. And a book for everyone who was ever more curious about the second kiss than the first. They get so lost, they start to wonder whether they ever knew where they were headed in the first place… With Wayward Son, Rainbow Rowell has written a book for everyone who ever wondered what happened to the Chosen One after he saved the day.
